Also think about toiletries, a camera, (charger for) the phone. Include a copy of the birth plan and your chart in the bag.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Car seat for the return journey: the baby should be in a car seat and not on your arms in the car.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transport to and from hospital must be arranged by yourself.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only in case of an emergency can the midwife call an ambulance to take you to the hospital.<br>If you do not have a car, ask family and friends or call a taxi<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Arrange a babysitter for the older children.
