You are most likely visiting our website because you are hoping to become pregnant, or perhaps you are already expecting. Here you will find information on all aspects of birth care: pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care and the youth healthcare service (jeugdgezondheidszorg, JGZ).

Within Geboortezorg Salland, we as midwives, gynaecologists, hospital and kraamzorg (maternity care) work closely together to ensure that your pregnancy and birth proceed as smoothly as possible.
Each of us has his/her own area of expertise. Obstetric care is provided by the midwife, if possible, but by the gynaecologist if necessary.
Together, we determine the healthcare plan for your pregnancy that is appropriate to your situation.

GPs, pharmacists, youth nurses and, for example, physiotherapists also form an integral part of obstetric care and we collaborate with these professionals as well.
We will ask your permission to consult with them.
